Thank you for visiting the Chilly Open page of The Mortgage Outlet. Now that spring has sprung the 21^st annual Chilly Open seems like a distant memory. For those who don’t know about the Open, it’s an annual winter fundraising event to support the Wayzata Chamber of Commerce.  The Mortgage Outlet was a proud sponsor of Hole #10 where we grilled some breakfast sausages and bratwursts provided by the fine people at Von Hanson’s Meats, Thank you! The two courses were designed by PGA Pro Tim Herron on the ice of gorgeous Lake Minnetonka, yes golf on ice and great fun was had by all. 

As a new branch in the community, we found this an extraordinary event to get to know the people and businesses in our new community. We also took a hand at golfing 20 holes with a tool of choice, some used a 5 iron, a putter or hockey stick there was even a lacrosse stick for hitting the regulation tennis ball out of the rough. Mind you, it was good golfing in the morning until a sweltering, unseasonable 53 degrees hit on this day (Let’s say there were plenty of water hazards. We had a great time getting to know our new friends and watching the record 10 Aces on our 37 yard hole!
